What are good technology rules for the classroom? Should there be limits? The answer is absolutely. Technology and internet rules are a must for every classroom. Using technology can allow students to take the lead in their own learning process. Using these simple technology rules will set guidelines that will also keep them safe as they take on this new adventure.
Simple Rules to Follow:
1. No food or drink should be used near any type of technology (phones, computers, laptops, iPads. etc).
2. Always keep your eyes on your screen only, respect the privacy of others.
3. Keep your personal information, such as passwords, private.
4. If you have a problem with your device, seek help from an adult, do not try to fix it yourself.
5. Only use access approved websites.
6. Respect the equipment. Do not hit, slam, throw, etc any type of device.
7. No bullying of any kind through devices.
8. Always log off of the computer when you are finished using it. Leaving a computer logged in will give others access to your personal information.
